September already, what happened to the summer?
As we approach the end of the season we should begin to think about the winter months and this involves what you need to do with your boat. It is important to either 'winterise' your boat or place a heater inside to fight off any frosts that we may suffer.
Here at Bourne End Marina we are able to 'winterise' your boat even if you are not moored with us we will come to your home or whever your boat is moored. Please call if you need assistance in this field.
Should you not moor with us have you considered a 'winter' mooring here where you can plug in to our shore power or for us to simply keep an eye on your boat during the winter months, should we have any floods this year you rboat would be safe on our floating pontoons.
This is also the time of year that you should consider what work needs to be carriedout for the 2007 season, do you need to correct any damage incurred this season or is it time you had your boat antifouled or cleaned etc, etc.
